Zhengzhou City, the conserve capital in Chinese Henan Province, is planning to encourage entire region's balanced development in order to correspond with the increase of population following the recent economic development. And the new-town is planned by redeveloping a former airport site. The detailed urban master plan was designed based on the urban master plan (Kisho Kurokawa Architect & Associates) which continued since 2001, and it includes environmental investigation, site condition study and detailed plan study. The detailed urban master plan consists of land use plan, infrastructure facilities' plan, public facility plan and so on.
